Bob attended Hartt College of Music at the University of Hartford (Connecticut) where he majored in Music Education. He built an exceptional reputation as a performer in the Hartford-Springfield area before relocating to Atlanta. Bob has over 30 years of experience as a teacher and was principle guitar instructor at the Hartford Conservatory of Music for seven years. He still takes a few select students. Bob is also proud of the work he has done in developing programs for Master Classes and clinics.

Bob is currently active as a teacher, composer, arranger, author and contributor to "Just Jazz Guitar" magazine and other publications. His storied music career has encompassed almost all areas of recording, performance and instruction.

While he has performed a groups and individuals from the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra to the Atlanta Ballet, his major emphasis has been as a solo performer.

Bob's first recording was a pop-rock single and has since been privileged to perform and record with artist's, such as Julius LaRosa, Maxine Sullivan, Bobby Haggart, Mitzi Gaynor, Roger Williams and Rosemary Clooney. His most recent release is a CD entited “A Celebration of Christmas, the Holy Day the Holiday.” He also has solo CD entitled "MUSIN." Bob has performed on over 15 albums or CD’s.

In the area of composition, Bob has produced a prolific number of jazz originals that have been performed by numerous college jazz bands, including the Kennesaw State University Jazz Ensemble. Classically, Bob has composed a "Suite for Brass Quintet" which has been performed by local Atlanta groups.

Although Bob does not do a lot of performing these days, he does play every Sunday at his church, First Baptist Church of Mableton (fbcmableton.com).
